Prince William Co, VA – One Killed, One Injured in Crash on I-95
Prince William Co., VA (February 5, 2024) – A deadly crash on Interstate 95 in Prince William County claimed one life and left another person seriously injured Tuesday afternoon, February 5.
The Virginia State Police responded to the accident around 2:39 p.m. on the southbound lanes of I-95, near the Route 234/Dumfries Road exit. According to reports, a 2020 Lexus SUV was stopped on the right shoulder when a 2022 Ford work truck veered off the roadway and crashed into the vehicle.
The driver of the Lexus suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the SUV sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Inova Fairfax Hospital for treatment. Authorities have not yet released the names of those involved.
