Cory Nigrin

A meticulous attorney and passionate litigator, Cory Nigrin graduated from the prestigious George Washington University Law School in the spring of 2023. His academic journey began at the University of Miami, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Media and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Cory’s legal career was honed through internships and student organizations, where he engaged in personal injury law, criminal law, trust and estates, and family law cases. He excelled in drafting key legal documents, managing client relations, and actively participating in trial preparations, demonstrating the ability to translate complex legal concepts into actionable strategies. Cory further specialized in domestic violence law, contributing to research and educational projects that addressed jurisdictional and sentencing issues. His efforts helped provide resources to educate and protect vulnerable populations.

In law school, Cory was an active member of the Student Bar Association, championing accessibility and inclusivity through initiatives like hosting student panels and advocating for increased accessibility on campus. He also participated in moot court competitions and mock trials, showcasing his exceptional advocacy skills.

Cory passed both the Washington D.C. Bar Exam in July 2023 and the Virginia Bar Exam in February 2024, and is now also licensed to practice in Maryland as of 2025. His commitment extends beyond the courtroom to public policy, where he wishes to leverage his legal expertise to drive societal change.

Outside the office, Cory is a cultured individual with diverse interests ranging from filmmaking, musical theatre, and music composition to maintaining an active lifestyle through weightlifting, nutrition, and jiu jitsu.
