Glen Burnie, MD (November 19, 2025) – Two people waiting inside a medical office were injured Wednesday afternoon, November 19, when a vehicle crashed through the front of the Maryland Primary Care Physicians building off Quarterfield Road in Glen Burnie. The Anne Arundel County Fire Department said the collision caused significant interior damage and left two elderly patients trapped inside the waiting room.
Fire officials said emergency crews took an elderly man and an elderly woman to Shock Trauma after the crash. The impact pinned one victim against a wall, and it trapped the other beneath the vehicle. First responders removed part of a cosmetic wall to reach one of the victims and safely extricate them. Doctors expect both injured individuals to survive.
Witnesses told officials that the driver pulled into the parking lot and appeared to park before suddenly accelerating into the waiting room.
Police said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officers. Right now, police say impairment does not play a role in the crash, and they have not filed any charges.
Officials continue to investigate the cause of this crash.
