Car Accidents in Virginia
Motor vehicle collisions in Virginia happen far too often. Every year, tens of thousands of people end up in the hospital with serious injuries because of these accidents. If you're one of those who get hurt, you might face severe compound fractures, internal injuries, or even spinal cord damage. The tough part is that many of these crashes could have been avoided.
Negligence plays a huge role in these accidents. You know, things like speeding, getting distracted, driving while impaired, or just not yielding when you should. When drivers don’t take responsibility, it can seriously hurt others on the road.
Speeding, for instance, is particularly risky. High-speed crashes often lead to serious injuries for victims. And distractions, like texting or scrolling on your phone while driving, can pull your attention away when you need it most. Plus, driving under the influence really messes with a driver’s abilities and increases the chances of a crash. Not yielding at a stop sign or merging lanes can also result in some pretty serious accidents.
