Wythe County, VA (August 13, 2025) – A head-on crash along Interstate 77 left six people injured and sent emergency crews from several departments into action on Saturday, August 9.
The collision occurred around 12:29 p.m. near mile marker 24.6 on the northbound side of the interstate. The Hillsville Fire Department was first on scene and confirmed a serious two-vehicle crash with significant front-end damage.
