Garner Nottingham | Car Accident Attorney

A passionate problem solver, and diligent attorney, Garner Nottingham graduated from George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School in May of 2024. Prior to Law School, Garner graduated in 2020 from Denison University, in Granville, Ohio, with a bachelors of art degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.

While in Law School, Garner interned for Blaszkow Legal, where he was first exposed to personal injury ligation. Garner then worked for Whitestone-Young P.C., in Fairfax, Virginia, where he supported their litigation work both in civil and criminal practice. Finally, Garner was invited to spend his final semester of Law School as a research fellow for the C. Boydon Grey Center for the Study of the Administrative State, at George Mason University. As a law student Garner also was a member of the Journal of Law, Economics, and Policy, where he honed his research, writing, and editing skills. Garner was also a member of the Trial Advocacy Society, where he practiced his courtroom skills and received training on the trial phase of litigation.

Between College and Law School, Garner spent a year living in Nashville, Tennessee where he participated in the Nashville Fellows Initiative, and worked in the Quality and Clinical Operations department of LifePoint Health, a major hospital company.

As an Undergraduate at Denison University, Garner received recognition for his capstone research project on supranational regional governance. He also studied abroad in London, where he interned for a member of Parliament, and conducted research on the “Brexit” vote. Garner also participated in a seminar on Central Asia, that involved 3 weeks of travel in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, where he conducted research on the region’s political economy.

Garner is a true native of the “DMV”, born in Alexandria, raised in Fredericksburg and D.C., and attending Law School in Arlington, with strong family connections in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Outside of work, Garner enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and reading about history. Garner continues to be interested in international affairs and public policy.

Garner was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 2024, after passing the July 2024 Virginia Bar Exam.
