Alexandria, VA – Multi-Vehicle Wreck Reported on I-395 Ends in Injuries
Alexandria, VA (January 10, 2024) – A series of motor vehicle accidents occurred in the Alexandria area on Sunday that ended in injuries. The Virginia State Police, firefighters, and EMS were all summoned to the crash site at around 7:20 p.m. on January 7.
According to official reports provided by VSP, a collision took place on the northbound side of Interstate 395. The incident blocked the road near exit 6. Immediately after the first collision, two additional vehicles traveling down the roadway swerved to avoid crashing. However, both of the vehicles were then involved in collisions. In SUV involved in one of the crash is overturned. Two people were injured as a result of the accident. The victims were treated on site and transported to area hospitals for emergency care. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
