Washington, DC (September 23, 2026) – A bicyclist was killed Tuesday, September 22, in a collision that involved a box truck on the 1300 block of Rhode Island Avenue Northwest. Officers were called there around 1 p.m.
The man on the bike had critical injuries and died at the site, police said. The truck driver stayed until officers arrived and did not appear to be hurt.
The cause of the collision continues to be investigated.
