Middlesex County, VA – Two Killed in Crash on General Puller Hwy
Middlesex County, VA (September 18, 2024) – A fatal motor vehicle accident reported in Middlesex County on Monday afternoon claimed the lives of two people. The Virginia State Police responded to the scene at around 3:55 p.m. on September 16.
Reports show that 64-year-old Allan Wayne Cash was traveling east on Gen. Puller Highway in a 2014 Kia Soul. As the vehicle proceeded down the roadway just east of Gloucester Road, it collided with a 2017 Ford Transit van. The front seat passenger in the Kia, identified as 90-year-old Eleanor Heath Cash, was immediately pronounced deceased at the scene.
An additional victim in the vehicle, 50-year-old Donna Sue Cash, was rushed to Walter Reed Hospital for severe injuries. She died from her injuries after arriving. Cash was also transported to a hospital in an area for medical care. The driver of the transit van, Sherry Rena Green-Henry, and her 11-year-old passenger were both transported to Walter Reed Hospital for medical care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
